BIDDEFORD — Priscilla J. Martin, 63, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with cancer on June 1, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with her family by her side.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1951 in Bidde-ford, the daughter of Robert and Norma Gendron Lavigne.

Priscilla grew up in Biddeford and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1969. She attended Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and received an Associate’s degree in accounting. She worked as an educational technician for Van Buren and Caswell schools for several years, retiring in 2012.

She married Clayton Martin in 1990 in Caswell.

She was a member of the Columbiettes of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Auxiliary in Van Buren. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as bowling, vacationing and going on cruises.

She is survived by: Her husband of 24 years, Clayton of Van Buren; two daughters, Terra Coffin and her fiancé Jason Crocker of South Paris, and Robyn Mercier of South Berwick; a stepson, Shawn Martin and his wife Yolana of Brewer; two brothers, Randall Lavigne and his wife Fran of North Port, Florida, and Ronald Lavigne and his wife Tammy of Biddeford; two sisters, Linda Tipping and her husband Joseph of Wells, and Brenda Downs and her husband Henry of Portland; six grandchildren, Caleb and Carter Fillebrown, Tyler Hudson, and Tyler, Kayla and Remington Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20 at 9 a.m. at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph’s Church, 178 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
