BIDDEFORD — Lorenzo N. Huot, 91, of Biddeford, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

He was born Sept. 5, 1923 in Biddeford, the only child of Wilfrid and Odile (Lauzier) Huot. He graduated from Biddeford High School and was a graduate of the Saco-Lowell Apprentice Program.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Kidd.

Lorenzo was employed as a machinist at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 28 years, retiring in 1985.

He was a member of the Rochambeau Club and the Happy Rovers RV Club. He enjoyed golfing and going to the beach.

His first wife, Lorraine LeClerc, died March 17, 1995.

He is survived by: his wife, Eleanor Gagne Carpenter Huot of Biddeford; four sons, Ronald Huot and his wife Paulette of West Springfield, Massachusetts, Robert Huot and his partner Nathalie Pommier of North Berwick, John Huot of Sanford, and Dale Huot and his wife Holly of Shapleigh; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Saturday, June 27 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
