KENNEBUNK — Howard Edward Huff Sr., 76, of Cat Mousam Road, Kennebunk, died June 10, 2015 at his home.
Howard was born Aug. 28, 1938 in Kenne-bunk, a son of Clement and Mamie (Wakefield) Huff.
He worked for many years in road construction for Cianbro, and later as a custodian for the Wells School District.
On Oct. 25, 1963 he married Joanne Evelyn Dodge.
Howard enjoyed wood carving and drawing. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had fun watching professional wrestling (wrasseling) on television. He really enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by: his brothers, Herbert and Kenneth Huff; and by his sisters, Alice Shackford and Nancy Simonton.
Howard is greatly missed by: his wife, Joanne; his sons, Howie Edward Huff Jr. and his wife Tammy of Scarborough, Rick Raymond Huff and his wife Priscilla of Waterboro, and Ray David Huff and his wife Eileen of Sanford; his daughters, Judi Chamberlin and her significant other Bud Hall, of Springvale, and Lisa Wilcox and her husband Jim of Wells; his brother, Benjamin Huff of Lyman; his sister, Roberta Simonton of Kennebunkport; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
At Howard’s family’s request, all services will be private family gatherings.
