Thanks to All

Don Swander, project director for Toby’s Dream (paving at the Windham Veterans Center) sends a big thank-you to all who contributed to the cause. Swander says the goal has been met and a date will be selected so the hall can be closed for 10 days so the work can be done. Tentative plans after the paving include a community appreciation celebration.

Success Story

The 5K race was a complete success along with the auction and the brunch put on by the American Legion Auxiliary. Toby’s Dream surpassed its goal of $50,000 with supporters from as far as California. In addition, the American Legion collected many pounds of food and financial support at their annual Food Drive at Walmart. This has been given to the Windham Food Pantry.
