I applaud Mr. Lauzon for having the nerve to call out the molester, “Dodd.” This human changed Mr. Lauzon’s whole quality of life.
I know it would have changed my trust in the police department, in the council, the mayor and the Attorney General’s office. If you cannot turn to these public officials for help, who is left to seek help from?
The Biddeford officials did a great disservice to Mr. Lauzon by allowing this sexual abuser to continue to molest and abuse these young trusting teens.
How can you, as a public official, elected or hired to serve and protect the less capable, stand by and let this monster continue on his way. Shame! Shame!
Whomever was aware, in office or in the police department, needs to resign and be held accountable for their poor management of their office. I don’t believe for a second Dodd’s molesting habits were not noticed by top officials in office during Dodd’s reign of terror.
Own up and take what punishment you all deserve. You are worse than the molester himself by allowing these young people to hide and cry in shame.
Mr. Lauzon was molested and how dare anyone try to make light of this situation. Mr. Lauzon has the right to speak out and talk to anyone he pleases. Media, Facebook, etc. ”“ use it all and don’t give up on yourself or your rights.
Mr. Lauzon, you did nothing wrong and you were sadly let down by the people you trusted and believed in.
These public officials who say their hands are clean and unwilling to comment are hiding something. The law doesn’t say public officials cannot comment on issues concerning sexual abuse or any other issue. If this were the case, then they would never be able to comment on any other criminal wrong doings.
As a concerned citizen, this issue should have been handled swiftly and the molester and his cohorts given severe punishment. If getting to the truth calls for these officials to take lie detector tests, so be it!
The police department head who was in charge while Dodd was a cop had to have at some point heard Dodd was being inappropriate with young teenage boys.
Dodd hid behind his badge and used his position to molest and ruin these young lives. I don’t for a second believe the police department has clean hands. If your hands are clean then I will be the first to apologize.
The top officials in the police department should step down and have replacements until these charges are resolved. The Attorney General’s office should send a different official than the last one who handled this case against Dodd.
All you people molested by Dodd need to support Mr. Lauzon and come forward and make this molester and whoever else involved pay for what they did to your lives. You will feel a sense of safety in numbers and know you are no longer alone.
This is your time to take these powerful officials down and take that heavy load off your back.
It’s not your fault. Come forward and regain your freedom.
