HALLOWELL

The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee presents Second Sundays — a monthly series of free community art-making events sponsored by The Bank of Maine.

May’s Second Sunday, from 2-4 p.m., May 10, is a critique designed for artists. The public is encouraged to bring one or two pieces or art that are being worked on or have been completed to the group critique. Critiques are a great way to meet other artists and get some input on works of art.

Mark your calendars and look forward to activities on the second Sunday of every month at the Harlow Gallery. These events bring artists and art lovers together to enjoy the process of making art as well as looking at art and discussing it. Many of the events are perfect for families, and all are welcome — though children under 10 must be accompanied by a care-giver.

Sessions take place the second Sunday of every month from 2 to 4 pm at the Harlow Gallery, and are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well.

The Second Sunday Community Art-making Series is sponsored by our hometown bank, The Bank of Maine. Donations to support gallery programs like Second Sundays are welcome — the Harlow Gallery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and gifts are fully tax deductible in accordance with current tax law.
