Claudette was born on Feb. 8, 1939, in Brunswick, Maine. She was the daughter of the late Lionel Renaud and Eva Bouchard Renaud. She attended local schools and graduated from Brunswick High School. While still in high school, she met the love of her life, Joe, who had just returned from duty with the Marine Corps. The couple married in October of 1956, started a family, and moved to Nashua in 1962. Claudette took great pride in her home and family always making them a priority. She was then employed by the City of Nashua as a paraprofessional for 33 years at Birch Hill Elementary School retiring in 1998. Claudette and Joe moved to Hollis in 1973 where they resided for many happy years.

In her spare time, Claudette volunteered her time at church events, knitted, and was an avid reader. For the last four years of her life, she took care of and advocated for her husband, Joe, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. The couple lived together at The Arbors of Bedford and Bedford Hills from 2012 through 2015.

Claudette was a caring, loving, and devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered with love and deeply missed. Many thanks to the dedicated health care professionals at both The Arbors of Bedford and Bedford Hills Center who treated her with respect, compassion, and dignity throughout her stay with them.
