Again this year, Maine Senior Guide and Beach Glass Transitions will welcome senior citizens and their families to an event sure to provide information, as well as entertainment. What a great way this is to start the season.
On Wednesday, May 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the Spring Senior Expo will be held at the St. Maximillian Kolbe Church Hall, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough.
The Expo will feature exhibitors including senior living centers, home care and home health options, downsizing and travel planning.
VNA Home Health & Hospice will be providing free blood pressures. There will be Tai Chi demonstrations, antique appraisals and singing by the Yarmouth Community Chorus at 1 p.m.
Attendees can place their name in the drawing for a grand prize that includes play and concert tickets and dinner money.
The Expo is sponsored in part by Falmouth by the Sea/Foreside Harbor.
Expo admission is free and there is plenty of free parking. There is no registration required.
