SANFORD — The family of Robert R. Lavertu would like to announce the following dates concerning the services being held in his honor: a burial service, which will be held on Friday, April 24 at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Springvale at noon; and a celebration of life on Sunday, April 26 from 1-3 p.m. at the Amvets on School Street in Sanford. There wll be a pot luck meal, with memories and stories being shared.
