BIDDEFORD — Rachel L. Perreault, 64, of Biddeford, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born April 12, 1950 in Biddeford, a daughter of Victor and Evelyn (Poirier) Fleurant, and was educated in Biddeford schools. Rachel graduated from St. Andre’s High School in the class of 1968 and attended Pierre’s School of Beauty Culture in 1969.

Rachel had been employed as a CNA at Notre Dame Hospital. After school she had been a hairdresser at Joan’s Beauty Shop for approximately a year. She worked at Shape for many years and also at the Dry Dock restaurant as a breakfast and lunch waitress. Later she was employed at IBC bakery, retiring a few years ago.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Robert Fleurant in 2000.

She is survived by: two sons, Ronald Perreault of Biddeford, and Ryan Perreault and his wife Lisa of Waterboro; two grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Perreault; three sisters, Cecile Rossignol and her husband Norman of Biddeford, Jacqueline Maurice and her husband Kenneth of Exeter, New Hampshire, and Patricia Vintinner and her husband Dave of Murphy, North Carolina; four brothers, Ralph Fleurant of Biddeford, Donald Fleurant and his wife Mary of Arundel, Charles Fleurant of Biddeford, and Brian Fleurant of Biddeford; and nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. on April 25 at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford.
