With her outgoing nature and vibrant love for life, she developed many close and special friendships over the years through her social life, work, church, and her battle with breast cancer. She had a profound and selfless love for friends and family and enjoyed spending much of her time with them. DeeAnne gave so much of herself to others; her passing will be felt by the many whose hearts she touched.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Darren Townsend in 1996; and her sister, Donner Townsend Vacari in 2011.
In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, DeeAnne is survived by: her sisters, Debra Stockwell of Lyman, Darlene Townsend of Parsonsfield, Diane Wildes of Saco, Dorothy Green of Sanford, Doreen Townsend of Saco, and Jennifer Howard and Chrissy Cross, both of Sanford; her brother, David Townsend Jr. of Sanford; her companion, John Vacari of Biddeford; and her many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 178 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005 on Tuesday at 11 a.m., followed by burial services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 120 West St. Biddeford, ME 04005.
The family is deeply grateful for the heartfelt outpouring of love, prayers, and support from too many people to name individually, but including family and friends, and all who provided care and comfort. To our angel, DeeAnne, you will be loved, remembered, and cherished always, and may you live on through all of those who loved you and all of the lives you touched.
