Bean, Maine Beer Co. and Buck’s Naked BBQ. Freeport residents and businesses will be able to buy solar panels at discounted prices thanks to 12 families who signed early contracts as part of the Solarize Freeport program. By signing their contracts prior to March 28, the 12 participants were recognized as Solarize Freeport Sunrisers and secured the lowest pricing tier for themselves and other Freeport property owners who elect to install solar panels.  Solarize Freeport encourages local property owners to install a solar energy system between May and October. People can join the Solarize Freeport mailing list or register to receive a quote at www.solarizefreeport.com or by calling 200-1360.Courtesy photo
