Let’s talk about Obama’s broken promises ”“ I’ll choose five from the dozens and dozens he has not kept or lied about.

1. “If you like your healthcare plan, you’ll keep your healthcare plan.” As it turns out, folks, millions of Americans have already lost, and more will likely lose, their coverage thanks to Obamacare. I know my premiums went up this year.

2. “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period”. Again many Americans cannot keep the doctors they were seeing because a number of insurers are offsetting the cost of Obamacare by limiting the number of doctors in their networks.  Still got yours?

3. “In the Obama Administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2500 for a typical family per year.” It has been documented by the Heritage Foundation that premiums for Americans in both the individual and group markets continue to rise.

4. “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase”. There are at least 18 separate tax increases, fees, and penalties loaded into Obamacare ”“ many of which impact the middle class. Just the demographics that Obama promised wouldn’t get hurt A real example of this are the fines that families would pay if they chose and continue to choose not to purchase health care. Last year, the fine was $95.00 or 1 percent of household income; this year, it’s $325.00 or 2 percent of household income; and next year, it’s $695.00 or 2.5 percent of household income. These look to me like necessary dollars taken from a family and used to support Obamacare ”“ how does it look to you?

5. “I will protect Medicare.” Of course, we all know now that Obamacare has been cutting Medicare to offset the new health care spending.

Bottom line, folks, is that Americans got Obamacare shoved down their throats along with so many lies and exaggerations, that it’s hard to tell fact from fiction.
