A Damariscotta man has been charged with sexually abusing three children under the age of 12.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ronald Brann, 65, of Blue Haven Lane, on three counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of unlawful sexual touching, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The arrest came as a result of two complaints to the Department of Health and Human Services about incidents in Damariscotta and Waldoboro.

Brann is being held on $5,000 bail at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset pending a June 8 court date.
