Westbrook police arrested 23-year-old Jamie Vandegraaf of Scarborough Friday afternoon in connection with a robbery and theft at Shaw’s Supermarket in Westbrook on March 31.

Vandegraaf was arrested in South Portland with the assistance of the Maine Violent Offender Task Force, South Portland Police Department and the Portland Police Department.

Vandegraaf also had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation stemming from a prior robbery conviction. He is being held at the Cumberland County Jail.
