ERIE, Pa. — Tim Frazier scored 16 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter Wednesday night as the Maine Red Claws moved a step closer to clinching the Atlantic Division title wth a 116-114 victory against the Erie Bayhawks in a D-League game.

The Red Claws (31-14) can clinch the division with a victory at home Friday night against the Westchester Knicks.

Maine trailed 59-52 at the half, then outscored Erie 34-21 in the third quarter.

Frazier went 10 of 12 from the floor and 9 of 9 from the foul line, adding eight boards and five assists. Omari Johnson had 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and James Young, with Maine on assignment from the Boston Celtics, had 20 points, including six 3-pointers.

Erie (20-25) regained a 104-102 lead with four minutes remaining, but a Frazier three-point play gave Maine the lead for good.

Seth Curry hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Bayhawks Curry finished with 25 points to lead Erie.

The loss eliminated the Bayhawks from playoff contention.
