BRUNSWICK — Mark J. Fisher, 51, of Brunswick, ME (formerly of Fair Haven, NJ), passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Fair Haven for many years before moving to New England over 25 years ago.

Mark received his undergraduate and master’s degrees in geology from Boston College. He was the director of Environmental Health and Safety at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, for over 10 years. Previously, Mark was an environmental consultant with Shevenell Gallen & Assoc.

He was predeceased by his father, R. Danforth “Dan” Fisher and his brother, Stephen. Mark is survived by his mother, Nina; a sister, Jennifer; a niece, Lindsey Weiss and nephew, Daniel Weiss, all of Livingston, NJ.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ. A memorial Mass will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven. A memorial donation may be made to the Mark J.
