The celtic, roots rock music of ENTER THE HAGGIS has been an audience favorite at the Chocolate Church Arts Center for years. AT 7:30 p.m. March 13, Jubilee Riot/ENTER THE HAGGIS returns to the main stage for an exclusive performance before St. Patrick’s Day.
The band has recorded seven studio albums as ENTER THE HAGGIS. They toured internationally, landing high profile gigs on “Live with Regis and Kelly” and A&E’s “Breakfast with the Arts,” as well as being the feature of a concert/documentary on PBS.
Their musical sound lies somewhere between the fiercely creative and contemporary soundscapes of Radiohead and the heartfelt story telling and infectious grooves of The Band. It is their uncompromising commitment to their music and fans that has seen the band garner top ten charting positions on Billboard, Amazon and iTunes.
Over the years the band has meticulously crafted their sound, transforming their original Celtic-jam into something diverse and multifaceted; something uniquely their own. The name Jubilee Riots was chosen, paying homage to their hometown, Toronto.
The concert will include favorite ENTER THE HAGGIS music and build on the legacy. With a new album and new name, the band has an extensive tour lined up taking them through Canada, the U.S. and to Europe.
The Jubilee Riot/ENTER THE HAGGIS concert, sponsored by Seaflower Garden and Design and Spencer Gray Insurance, begins at 7:30pm.
