BIDDEFORD – David Christopher Budzko, 50, passed away peacefully Feb. 9, 2015 in Portland after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is the son of Joan Anne Korbini of Westbrook, and Matthew Charles Budzko Jr. of Sebastian, Florida. He was born in Portland on April 27, 1964, and graduated from Deering High School in 1982.

For the last 20 years, he made his life in Biddeford with his beloved wife, Jody (Robbins) Budzko, and most recently their dog, Buddy, who was the joy of their lives.

He worked for 12 years at Rosa Linda’s Restaurant in Saco.

He loved New England, sports, camping, and spending time at the ocean. He was a great sports fan and a lover of life.

He was preceded in death by: his stepfather, Martin L. Korbini.

David is survived by: his daughter, Stephanie Lundy of Old Orchard Beach; stepsons, Eric Crist and Steven Crist; brothers, Matthew Charles Budzko III of Sebastian, Florida, Anthony Budzko of Portland, Martin L. Korbini Jr. of Bluemont, Virginia; sister, Heather Horlor of Waterboro; 12 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a celebration of his life at St. Anthony’s Church (formerly St. Hyacinth’s) in Westbrook on May 2 at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow. To share memories and condolences with the family, go to www.athutchins.com.
