He was survived by a son, Dustin Zubrod (Ashley, and unborn son Cooper) of Topsham, ME, two daughters, Jaime Kershner of Bath, ME and Brittany Zubrod of Lisbon, ME. Also surviving are two brothers, Larry (Denise) Zubrod of La Vernia, TX, Mike Zubrod (Mary Ohrt) of Waterloo, IA and sister, Deb Picknell (Bob Peterson) of Barron, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, brotherin law LeRoy Picknell, paternal and maternal grandparents. He served as a U.S. Marine, loved to play golf, be outside, and see the world. He spent his last summer in Maine before going to Florida for the winter.
The celebration of his life will be held at the Brunswick Elks Lodge on Feb. 8 at 2 p.m.
