BIDDEFORD — Roland J.P. Peloquin, 80, of Biddeford died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland with his loving family by his side.

He was born June 12, 1934, a son of Francis and Lucille (Fontaine) Peloquin.

He was educated in local schools and was a 1952 graduate of St. Louis High School.

Roland served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

On Oct. 15, 1960 he married Patricia Emerson at St. Joseph’s Church

He had been employed for over thirty years with Saco-Lowell/Maremont Corp., retiring in 1991 as maintenance foreman.

Roland was a member of the Saco Pathfinders snowmobile club and the St. Louis Alumni Association. Besides snowmobiling, he enjoyed bowling and spending time “up to camp” in Jackman, enjoying the serenity and wilderness.

He loved computers and was always tinkering with them. Roland was an avid motorcyclist, enjoying rides on his Gold Wing.

He is survived by: his wife of 54 years, Patricia A. Peloquin of Biddeford; a daughter, Karen A. Jordan and her companion Shannon Bridges of Biddeford; three sons, Keith P. Peloquin and his companion Norma Janelle of Kennebunkport, Gregory S. Peloquin of Biddeford, and Michael Alberts of Peru, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Destiny Kathios of Lebanon, and Bryce Jordan of Biddeford
