MIAMI, Fla. — Eric John Linkel passed away unexpectedly due to an aortic rupture on Jan. 14, 2015, while on vacation with his family in St. Maarten. He was born on May 9, 1959, in Fullerton, Calif., to John Ellis Linkel and Angela Sue Linkel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME. Rite of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Church, 39 Pleasant St., Brunswick, ME.
