A Standish man was held without bail in the Cumberland County Jail on Wednesday night, charged with threatening to harm a victim with a knife during a domestic violence incident at his home on Middle Road.

Jay W. Bush, 54, of 606 Middle Road in Steep Falls is charged with domestic violence assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, said Capt. Donald Goulet of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported to police around 12:30 p.m.
