Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies responded to 606 Middle Road in the Steep Falls section of Standish at about 12:30 Wednesday afternoon for a reported domestic violence incident.

As a result of the investigation, Capt. Don Goulet said the home’s occupant 54-year-old Jay W. Bush, was arrested for domestic violence assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon (knife).

Bush was transported to the Cumberland County Jail where bail was set at $150 cash, Goulet said.
