DES MOINES, Iowa — Tim Frazier had 21 points, 10 assists and five rebounds to lead seven players in double figures for the Maine Red Claws as they held on for their franchise-record eighth straight win, a 112-108 victory over the Iowa Energy on Friday night at the Wells Fargo Arena.

Iowa cut the Maine lead to 108-106 on a 3-pointer by Damien Wilkins with 8.9 seconds left, but Andre Stringer went 4 for 4 from the foul line down the stretch to help the Red Claws hold on for the win.

Stringer added 16 points for the Red Claws, and Chris Babb and Ralph Sampson scored 14 apiece. Maine also got 12 points each from Omari Johnson and Asauhn Dixon-Tatum, and 11 from Jermaine Taylor.

Babb also grabbed 10 rebounds for the Maine, which improved its league-best record to 12-2. Iowa fell to 5-8.

Wilkins, who has played parts of nine season in the NBA, led the Energy with 27 points, and Jarrid Famous added 20 points and 20 rebounds. The 20 boards were the most ever by a Red Claws opponent.
