15, 1945 in Brunswick, the son of Camille E. and Laurence Theberge Gagne. He attended St. John’s School in Brunswick and graduated from St. Dominic ‘s High School in Lewiston. After serving in the U.S. Army, he graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1972. That same year he married- Charlene St. Pierre on July 15th.
Camille worked at Drapeau’s Pharmacy in Brunswick until it closed, then at Bedard Pharmacy in Lewiston for 10 years. He then became the pharmacist at the Parkview Adventist Hospital for 3 years and was employed at Wilson’s Drug Store in Bath for many years where he continued to work until the time of his death. Camille and his wife Charlene also owned and operated the Siesta Motel in Brunswick for 14 years until they sold it in 1996.
Camille’s second love in life after his family was working to help people.
He was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan. His favorite food was Maine Lobster and Alaskan King Crab legs. He loved to travel, spend time at the ocean, doing projects and tinkering around. Camille enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing games with his granddaughter and watching her do gymnastics.
Camille’s favorite time of year was Christmas and all the enjoyment of the season.
He was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus serving as treasurer and a member of the new building committee. In addition, he was on the supervisory committee and then on the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union, proudly serving for over 25 years.
Camille was also a member of the Maine Pharmacy Association.
Surviving him is his wife Charlene of Topsham, 2 daughters Christina Gagne of Lisbon Falls and Catherine Gagne of Brunswick. A granddaughter Kallie of
Lisbon Falls. Three brothers Eugene H. Gagne, Louis M. Gagne and his wife Anne and Omer E. Gagne all of Brunswick., He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Richard L. Gagne.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 from 5-8PM at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 3, 2015 at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Church- All Saint’s Parish, Pleasant St., Brunswick. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be in the spring.
