BRUNSWICK — Venise “Jackie” Kronstrand, age 89, of Brunswick, passed away on Dec. 10, 2014, with her children by her side. Venise was born in Brunswick, on Sept. 20, 1925, the daughter of Earl and Alvine (Gaudreau) Leavitt of Topsham. Jackie attended Brunswick High School and worked for 30 years as a CNA at Regional Memorial Hospital in Brunswick.

Jackie loved knitting, making jig-saw puzzles and being close with her family. She enjoyed trips to Disney World, Amish Country and Hershey Park with Gail and her family, her favorite character was “Pluto.” She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.

She was predeceased by her ex-husband, E. Arthur Kronstrand, who passed in 2003; two brothers, George Leavitt of Winslow and Roland Leavitt of Topsham.

She is survived by two children, a son Kenneth Kronstrand of Lisbon and his wife Joan, and a daughter Gail Lallier of Brunswick. She also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
