From reading all the editorial commentaries for the last few years, it appears that there are only two scenarios represented. Could there be a third or even more?

One is that the Democrats introduce legislation and the Republicans refuse to compromise. The liberal-controlled media would never portray this as compromising their base principles of small government, limited spending, limited taxes and limited regulations. This is the terrible “gridlock.”

Two is when the Republicans do compromise and America marches down the road to socialism.

Now that the Republicans are in power in the legislative branch, let’s try a third scenario: The Republicans introduce legislation to eliminate wasteful and ineffective government spending and all government giveaways. Then, the Democrats will refuse to cooperate and they will be guilty of causing the terrible gridlock.

But, just dream for a minute the wonders of the free market, unfettered by government regulations and taxes. Wasn’t that what made America great?

Americans were free to take care of themselves and charity was limited to charity organizations.

Well, it was a wonderful dream.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
