BATH — Barbara T. Brown, age 90, of Bath, died peacefully at the home of her daughter on Nov. 18, 2014. She was born on Nov. 27, 1923, in Bath, Maine, the daughter of Edward and Katherine (Ham) Kerwin.
She was married on July 13, 1941, to Ernest C. Brown, and they had four children.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Marie Kidder, Patricia Gilbert and Frances Kerwin; two brothers, Edward Kerwin and William Kerwin; and a granddaughter Wendy Pooler.
She is survived by one sister, Constance (of Stockton, Ga.), two sons, Larry W. Brown of Athens, Ga., Michael C. Brown and wife Carol (of Phippsburg), two daughters, Cheryl A. Pooler and husband Bruce (of West Bath), and Kathy B. Burgess and her husband Samuel (of Phippsburg). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was an artistic and creative person enjoying puppetry, painting, gardening and being with her family.
Donations, in her memory, may be made to the Morse High School scholarship fund. There will be no funeral.
