It is that time of year again, and Santa Bil’s Workshop needs your help! Some of you know me from being a Biddeford School Board member, some from just around town, and maybe you even heard about Santa Bil’s and the work I do. I want to assure you it takes many volunteers, countless businesses, and support from other nonprofits for Santa Bil’s to be able to help during the hardship that occurs for many during this time of year.

Setup around the greater Biddeford and Sanford areas are donation boxes for people to donate toys, both new and used, lights and decorations. You will also find coin jars at your local businesses so you can donate change, such as Paul’s Variety and Biddeford Gulf. Please visit our website at www.santabil.org to locate a box or coin jar.

Last year with the community’s help we were able to help more than 600 kids have a Christmas, and provide families with trees, lights and decorations. This is my eighth year running Santa Bil’s and I really appreciate the amount of help I receive from you, the community. Maine is a special place because we stick together and make sure everyone is taken care of this time of year. In the Biddeford area, you can visit the Wonderbar, Grady’s Radio & Satellite TV, and Dupuis Hardware to find drop boxes. Please, again, visit the website for a full list.

For more information on Santa Bil’s Workshop, please call Bil at 207-423-8187, or Charlene Dutremble at 207-423-3901.

I ask for your help to CHANGE Christmas for a family near you.

Bil Moriarty , Biddeford
