SACO — Gerard N. Lambert, 84, of Saco, passed away Wednesday afternoon on Nov. 5, 2014 at home.
He was born in Biddeford on June 16, 1930, a son of George and Alice (Hannah) Lambert.
He was educated in Biddeford schools.
Jerry was employed by local hardware stores in the Biddeford and Saco area for more than 30 years.
During retirement, he enjoyed working for Saco Parks and Recreation Department. Throughout the years, he enjoyed speed skating, lobstering in the summers and flower gardening. Most of all, he cherished his time with family at camp and relaxing in his hot tub.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Marie Jeanne (Breton) Lambert; one grandson, Jason Lambert; one brother, Paul Lambert; and one sister, Lucille Thibeau.
He is survived by: two sons, Richard G. Lambert and his wife Phyllis and David B. Lambert and his wife Judith L., all of Saco; two sisters, Lorette Girouard and her husband Ray and Joanne Picard; one granddaughter, Melissa Lambert; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
