Emily Downing is a 22-year-old college student, an AM radio intern learning important skills and a Westbrook homeowner.

Best of all, she is running on the Republican ticket for House District 35.

You may be surprised that such a young person can juggle and succeed with all of those responsibilities. Emily has a work ethic and desire to help her city and state solve government issues.

It is inspiring to witness a young woman like Emily willing to take on responsibility for the betterment of her community and state.
