We wish to share with you the warm hearts, giving spirits and enduring stamina of the nonprofit civic organization, OOB365.

This all-volunteer assembly hosts year-round festivals like: “Last Blast” on New Year’s Eve, Winter Carnival, “Smokin’ at The Ballpark” barbecue fest, “Blue at the Beach,” Woofstock and the “Field of Screams” Halloween Haunt.

OOB365 then repurposes sponsorship funds toward charitable causes like the following: free community dinners, food pantry drives, library fundraisers, alumni association scholarships, Teachers Appreciation Day, local youth team uniforms, Make A Wish Foundation, wounded veterans services, Parkinson’s disease research, plus multiple $3,000 to $5,000 donations for ongoing restoration of our Ballpark.

OOB365’s givers were among the original “dream team” of volunteers and donors who collaboratively resurrected our Ballpark. We remember every face and every bead of sweat.

Community matters to OOB365. It is a rare blessing for Old Orchard Beach to receive the enduring commitment of their giving spirit.

Their next free community dinner will be on Nov. 23 at the American Legion Hall on Imperial Street. All are welcome to share together in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Last year, we were entertained by Bluegrass musicians. Anyone who would like to help cook or serve guests, please go to www.oob365.com and let us know how you can help.
