I was a truck driver for 30 years, and drug testing was a regular requirement of my job. Myself and fellow employees were randomly tested throughout our career as truck drivers, and it is a regular practice in the same field today. Drug testing was not a choice, it was a requirement, as it is in many other jobs throughout the United States.
I agree with Gov. Paul LePage that welfare recipients should be drug tested, and feel he is going in the right direction. I believe more widespread testing needs to be done.
We have a governor who is looking out for our tax dollars, that it is spent wisely on welfare recipients whom I believe need help. I support him, and encourage everyone to protect their tax dollars by voting for Gov. Paul LePage.
