SANFORD — Sean Michael Johnson, 37, a compassionate and strong-willed individual, lost his long struggle with mental illness on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014.
Sean was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Aug. 20, 1977, a son of Albert Morrill Johnson Jr. and June Alice (Neil) Johnson.
He grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts before moving to Maine again in August 1990.
Sean was an exceptionally bright student and champion athlete. While living in Brockton, he played on two baseball teams that won city-wide tournaments.
