SOUTH PORTLAND — Zach Wilson scored on an assist from Eyob David Bosse in double overtime to lift Marshwood to a 1-0 SMAA boys’ soccer win Tuesday over South Portland.
Sam Leathe made eight saves for the shutout for the Hawks (7-6-1). Henry Curran finished with 11 saves for the Red Riots (8-4-2)
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Tommy Cogswell scored two goals to lead Gray-New Gloucester (7-5-2) in a shutout of Sacopee Valley (4-7-3) in Gray.
Tyler St. Pierre, Bryce Hayman and Jesse Riccardi each scored a goal. John Henry Villanueva and Brady Darnell combined for four saves.
Sacopee Valley keeper Michael Pingree finished with seven saves.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6, POLAND 2: DJ Nichols scored three goals as the Panthers (7-5-2) raced to a 4-0 halftime lead and cruised to a win over the Knights (4-9-1) in Poland.
Haize Fassett added a pair of goals for the Panthers and Sam Johnson scored once.
GREELY 3, YORK 0: Nick Pronovost had a goal and an assist and Hunter Graham and Paul Bischoff each scored once as the Rangers (9-3-2) defeated the Wildcats (3-7-4) in Cumberland.
The Rangers opened the scoring nine minutes into the game when Graham scored on an assist from Pronovost. Bischoff added a goal 18 minutes later and Pronovost closed out the scoring nine minutes into the second half.
John Wright made five saves to record the shutout for Greely. Connor Smith stopped nine shots for the Wildcats.
DEERING 4, SANFORD 0: Ahmed Adnan, Hany Ramadan, Stephen Ochan and Jonathan Bujambi each scored a goal for the Rams (12-1-1) in a win over the Spartans (2-12) in Sanford.
Orey Dutton made nine saves to record the shutout for the Rams and Sanford keeper Marcus Gould finished with 10 saves.
WATERVILLE 3, LEAVITT 1: Ethan Cayer scored the go-ahead goal with 15 minutes left in the second half to pace the Purple Panthers past Leavitt in Turner.
Dalton Henderson and Danilo Guthro also scored for Waterville (10-4-0).
Mitchell Knox scored for Leavitt.
MESSALONSKEE 1, LAWRENCE 1: Nick Blomerth scored for Lawrence and Elijah Tuell struck for Messalonskee as the teams played to a draw in a rain-shortened game in Fairfield.
WAYNFLETE 1, FREEPORT 0: Christian Kabongo scored a breakaway goal 30 minutes into the game after a defender slipped and the Flyers (11-1-2) held on to edge the Falcons (4-9-1) in Freeport.
Clancy Mitchell assisted on the goal by Kabongo and Milo Belleau made six saves to record the shutout for the Flyers.
Freeport keeper Brendan Qualls made nine saves.
CAPE ELIZABETH 7, KENNEBUNK 2: Eddie Galvin scored a pair of goals as the Capers (8-4-2) handled the Rams (6-8) in Cape Elizabeth.
Noah Haversat, RJ Sarka, Tim Brigham, Matt Concannon and Harry Queeney also scored for the Capers.
NOBLE 3, WINDHAM 2: Jamal Durrani scored with a header from a Josh Emard cross 1:13 into overtime as Noble (4-10) nipped the Eagles (4-9-1) at Windham.
Windham’s Tyler Skvorak scored the lone first-half goal.
Emard scored out of a scramble three minutes into the second to tie the match. The Eagles regained the lead when Austin Farwell scored off a cross from Josh Dugas. Jake Martell picked up his rebound to score the tying goal with 11:16 left in the second.
Zach White had eight saves in goal for the Knights. Windham keeper Kyle Joseph handled seven.
THORNTON ACADEMY 9, MASSABESIC 0: Simon Trcka, Aaron Goren and Liam Eisenhaur finished with two goals apiece as Thornton Academy (8-3-3) blanked Massabesic (1-12-1) in Saco.
Tyler Lebel, Charlie Goodrum and Keegan Fowler provided the balance of the Trojans’ goals.
Goalie Logan Gailitis needed two stops for the shutout. In the Mustangs’ goal, Justin Crowley handled nine.
