BRUNSWICK — Beverly Babic died peacefully in her home at Sunnybrook Village in Brunswick on Oct. 13, 2014. She was 90 years old.

Born in Cambridge, MA, Beverly moved to Manchester, NH when she was two. After graduating from Manchester Central High School, Beverly first worked for NH Insurance Co. and then became a beloved switchboard operator for Keller Products for many years. Clients and suppliers of the company would call just to be greeted by her.

Her real passion, however, was taking care of others. Whether family, friends, or even strangers, Beverly could be counted on to lend a helping hand. She spent many years as a volunteer at the Manchester Soup Kitchen feeding the homeless and would be there helping out on Thanksgiving and Christmas when volunteers were often hard to come by.

She moved to Bath, ME in 2007 following the death of her beloved husband of 49 years, Peter Babic. She is survived by one son, Michael Barndollar and his wife Janice Kauer of West Bath, ME.

There are no planned services at this time.

Gifts in memoriam of Beverly can be made to The Iris Network, 189 Park Ave., Portland, ME 04102.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Funeral Alternatives Group, 8 Pleasant St., Brunswick.
