Semifinal and regional final dates for the high school field hockey state tournament have been pushed back by the Maine Principals’ Association, which issued a revised schedule Monday because of forecasts for bad weather throughout this week.
Quarterfinal games are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, but teams will now have until Saturday to complete those contests.
The semifinals have been moved from Saturday to next Tuesday, and the regional finals are now scheduled for next Thursday, with Western Maine finals at Scarborough High and Eastern Maine finals at Hampden Academy.
The state finals are still scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, at Thomas College in Waterville.
