Portland native Scott Nappi and Gorham native Melissa Sanborn were chosen as 2014 inductees into the Southern Maine Community College Athletics Hall of Fame.

Nappi was the Yankee Small College Conference baseball player of the year in 2008 and 2009, helping the Seawolves to a 54-25 record in those two years, with a conference title in 2008. He is the school’s career leader in stolen bases.

Sanborn was named to the YSCC first-team in softball in 2008 and 2009, helping SMCC win conference titles each season. She is sixth in career home runs.
