The Kelpie Gallery, 81 Elm St. in South Thomaston, recently opened its fall exhibition, “Equinox,” featuring nine artists.
The artists in the exhibit include Alan Bunker, Sarah Barnard-Blitz, Susan Lewis Baines, Julie Haskell, Sandra Leinonen Dunn, Pamela Hetherly and Jill Valliere. There are also two new artists joining the exhibition, Kay Sullivan and Nancy Lovley.

Each of the artists brings a unique point of view to the landscape. Their work comes in a variety of media, including oils, watercolors, pastels, porcelain, plaster and metal leaf.
The owners of the gallery, Lauren Lewis, a painting conservator, and Susan Lewis Baines, an artist, have studios on site.
Lewis is a professional associate of the American Institute for Conservation and offers verbal condition assessments for paintings at no charge.
