As a former member of the Maine Senate, I feel particularly qualified to judge candidates for the Maine Legislature. In House District 4, comprising Ogunquit and parts of York, Sanford and Wells, the clear first choice is Patty Hymanson.
She has consistently demonstrated strong leadership experience as a physician, small business owner, chairwoman of the York School Committee, chairwoman of the board of Families First Health and Support Center, Maine delegate to the American Academy of Neurology and founder/leader of several other nonprofit organizations.
As a mother, wife, physician, community leader and citizen, she has always exhibited superior personal qualities of understanding, listening, compassion, thoughtfulness, articulateness, fairness and intelligence. We need more magnificent community leaders like Patty in Augusta.
