Load 16 tons and what do you get? Another cut in your welfare check. Gov. Paul LePage has solved Maine’s welfare problem, and all he had to do was put on a time limit. Now, like any Republican, he forgot to mention how this plan works. He brags how he stop overpayments, but how did this businessman accomplish this great feat? He simply cut payments ”“ one does not have to be smart to figure that one out.

Now he wants to eliminate domestic violence, maybe someone should tell him the cause of most domestic violence is lack of money. Gov. LePage brags about how he paid the hospitals with Mainers’ tax money, because, like most Republican governors, he’s not smart enough to accept that government money is also your tax money because it’s called Obamacare.

Not all Republicans realize if you don’t pay hospitals, they close. Even a Republican, well maybe some of them, know your chances of survival are better if you get quick treatment. Republicans, ask yourself one question: Why do you vote Republican? You’re aware you are voting for someone who wants to cut or privatize Social Security, voucher-ize Medicare and repeal Obamacare ”“ a health care a system that is working, that is why Republicans are not talking about it now ”“ and replace it with nothing.

Are some of you so foolish as to believe it will cost you your tax money; what do you think the governor used? Any fool knows when everyone chips in, it lessens the burden on everyone. If you Republicans want to hate someone, hate the people who are sending our jobs overseas, hate the people who use our tax money to feed those people who are doing our jobs, hate the members of Congress who own farms and gave themselves big subsidies while they cut food stamps by $8.6 billion and wanted to cut them by $40 billion; hate Tom Cotton of Arkansas, as he is one of them, along with the other members of his Christian Republican party.

Another mill is closing in America. When does the hatred for those workers and their families start? The first unemployment check or the first time they apply for welfare? When do we wake up? Our forefathers who immigrated here were smart enough to import only what they couldn’t make. They developed synthetics when war cut our supplies. This once great country realized we had to work together if we wanted to survive; Republicans only care if they survive.

Do Republicans expect the poor to go off in a corner and die?
