As active and retired businessmen and -women in our community, we believe that Diane Denk, candidate for Maine House District 9 (Kennebunkport and parts of Kennebunk and Biddeford) would be an excellent legislator, who would help Maine employers grow and create new jobs.

For more than 25 years, Diane was a businesswoman who served as a vice president at a large Chicago brokerage firm. She understands the difficulty of holding down costs, creating jobs, and finding and retaining good employees during challenging economic times.

In her current capacity as a special education teacher, she has worked with students of varying abilities in order to equip them with the skills necessary for successful careers. Sadly, too many of her students leave Maine in order to find good jobs.

We believe Diane would be an excellent advocate for creating a bridge from education to employment by working to ensure that small businesses in Maine are successful and can grow.

We need help. Maine needs help. Please join us in casting your ballots for Diane on Nov. 4.
