A rally featuring former Pres. Bill Clinton on behalf of Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud’s gubernatorial campaign has been moved to a bigger venue, Michaud’s campaign announced Friday morning.

The Portland rally was originally scheduled to take place at Ocean Gateway, but the 750 tickets were reserved within three hours. Instead, the Sept. 2 rally will take place at the Portland Expo, which has a capacity of roughly 2,000 people.
