SACO — Wallace W. “Tacy” Wright, 83, of Saco, passed away early Monday morning, on Aug. 25, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1931, a son of John and Laura (Barringer) Wright.
Wallace was educated in Pennsylvania schools and moved to Saco in 1949.
He married his wife, Jeannine, on Oct. 4, 1952.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Wallace started working at Saco Electric in the Apprentice Program and was employed there for 18 years, receiving his journey’s license and master’s license. He was a partner with G&W Electrical, retiring in 1999.
He was an accomplished woodworker.
Mr. Wright was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
He was preceded in death by: five brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by: his wife, Jeannine (Grenier) Wright of Saco; two daughters, Norma J. Wright of Saco and Cheryl B. Wright of Connecticut; one sister-in-law, Laurie Fenderson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
