BIDDEFORD — Shao Hua “Suzie” Wang Wu, 85, of Biddeford, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, after suffering a fall.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1929 in Dairen City, China, the daughter of Chi-chuan Wu and Lee-Shin Wu, and she was educated in China.

Mrs. Wang Wu married Shish-Tow Wang in China in 1947. He died in 2000.

She came to this country in 2001 after her husband’s passing to attend her grandson’s wedding.

Suzie volunteered for AARP at the Ross Community Center in Biddeford for 11 years. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking.

Surviving are: one daughter, Ma-Li Guillerault and her husband Gerard of Biddeford, with whom she resided; one son, Wang Hui-Yi of Taipei, Taiwan; and four grandchildren, Robert Guillerault and his wife Laura of Saratoga Springs, New York, andWang Yun Wei, Wang Yun Han and Wang You Lian, all of Taipei, Taiwan.

Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. Burial will be in Taiwan. To share condolences online, visit www.hopememorial.com.
