BIDDEFORD — Mrs. Phyllis Gerson passed away on Aug. 6, 2014.
A beloved mother and grandmother, and devoted teacher, artist, musician, she is survived by: three daughters, Roberta Gerson, Elena Gerson and Sara Chana Yisrael; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Aaronson; and cousin, Lois Belavsky.
A funeral service will be held at Mt. Sinai Cemetery on Aug. 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. The cemetery is located at 156 Hicks St. (off of Warren Avenue) in Portland, in the new section, plot 32. Visiting hours will be Sunday, Aug. 10 through Thursday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 463 Pool St. in Biddeford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diskin Orphanage in Jerusalem.
