SPRINGVALE — Joseph M. Trumble Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2014 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1945 in Bridgton, the son of Joseph M. and Helen (Martin) Trumble Sr.

Joseph served in the United States Army for seven years during the Vietnam War.

He was a retiree of General Electric and Cyro Industries.

He loved being with his family, camping, racing and was a huge fan of all New England sports teams.

He was preceded in death by: two children, Joseph Trumble and Crystal Trumble; and one grandchild, Courtney Jean Hanscom Trumble.

Joseph is survived by: daughters, Stacey Logler of Springvale and Kayla Trumble of Kennebunk; a son, Joseph W. Trumble of Sanford; six siblings; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial with military honors will take place on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. the Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, followed by a celebration of his life at Joseph’s home.
