There will be a free community celebration with picnic and concert from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday on “The Inn Lawn” behind the McPheeter home. Local food will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic. A special worship service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday followed by fellowship and church tours until noon. Bell Hill Meetinghouse Service, 2:30 p.m., 101st annual service marking the 175th anniversary of the site’s completion with an original short play highlighting the building’s origins. Also featured will be music by the Bell Hill Singers and Camp Arcadia Singers It is also the 175th anniversary of the brick schoolhouse next to the meetinghouse, which is now a small museum. An ice cream social will follow the service on the common at 191 Bell Hill Road in Otisfield.

Summer work camp will be held this week with more than 350 youth volunteers and adult chaperones from around the country staying at Noble High School in North Berwick for a week of prayer and work..
