Cub Scouts tour World War II battleship
Cub Scout Pack 87 in Westbrook, accompanied by parents and adult leaders, bunked aboard the famous battleship USS Massachusetts at Fall River, Mass., in a visit last month.
The Scouts visited Battleship Cove, which includes the Massachusetts and several historic ships, including the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr.
“This hands on history lesson was an exceptional experience for all in attendance,” said Matt Randall, den leader and parent. “This experience will not soon be forgotten based on everyone’s enthusiasm and requests to return again.”
